Christmas Day!

Time to go home and go to bed. What a long christmas day!

Wow, what a busy day we had. We woke up Christmas morning and opened presents at our house and my parents came over for breakfast. We then we to my grandmother's house for lunch. Leaving there, we went to Ryan's family to open presents and eat dinner. Hudson had so much fun with all his presents and kept asking "Open more presents?" Too funny!!

While we were cleaning up this is where we found Hudson. He dragged the chair in from the dining room and was just being the best little helper!

Today, CeCe , Hudson, and I spent the day shopping and baking. We decided to make some yummy christmas cookies!

Grinch on Ice!

Last night, Ryan's parents, Nana and Papa took us and Aunt Lynnie and Uncle David to the Grinch on Ice at Opryland Hotel. We had a lot of fun, but it was very cold inside! You have to wear these big ugly parka jackets and Ryan kept saying how Hudson reminded him of the kid in Christmas story all bundled up. I really thought Hudson would love the slides, but he was a little unsure of the whole situation. Afterwards, we went to the gift shop and I told Hudson to pick out something he wanted with a grinch on it. Well, he finds this guitar ornament and start singing and serenading everyone, so needless to say we bought the guitar ornament and no grinch!

Breakfast with Santa

On Saturday, Cece and I took Hudson to a breakfast with Santa. He didn't want any part of sitting on Santa's lap, so you can see where we were sitting discussing what Santa would bring him for Christmas and giving Santa High Five! On Saturday afternoon, we went with some friends to the Opryland Hotel to look at the decorations. I tried to get one good family shot.

On Monday, my friend Carole Anne came over and helped me decorate my house for Christmas. We had a lot of fun until the Christmas tree decided to fall out of it's stand. That was not so much fun. We spent what seems like forever trying to get it back in its stand, we finally had help from my great neighbors and were able to adjust it. We just needed a man's touch! ha ha!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving Day with the Rollers. It was such a beautiful day and Hudson especially loved playing outside with Lady, Clementine, and Miss Boo, unfortunately we couldn't get a picture of all three dogs.

2 years ago today Hudson was brought into our life. He is such a joy and we love him so much.
