A Sunday afternoon

Sunday after Hudson woke up from his nap, I heard the back door open and him go out (which he did get in trouble for!) and I hurried to see what he had done and this is what I found, he had gotten into his closet and found his favorite pair of shoes (his rainboots) and proceeded to get into his sandbox with his Sunday clothes on and all!!! I couldn't help but laugh and take some photos.

Celebrating Ryan's B-day in Puerto Rico

Enjoying our last day
I had to play some too!

Ryan playing a pick up game of basketball with some of the locals.
None of them spoke English, but he did teach them the word "buckets" and
his team won!

Ryan showing off his B-ball skills

Going out on the ferry boat to the resorts private island.

Eating some Puerto Rican cuisine.

Ryan decided to buy the ugliest tourist shirt and thought
he would be cute and wear it everywhere. I think he payed like $5 for it.
The funny thing is, he actually got a compliment on it from someone and wanted to know where he got it!!

Happy Birthday Dinner!!

Enjoying my book.

This year Ryan turned the big 3-0! In order to celebrate, we decided to take a trip to Puerto Rico to celebrate. It was the first time either of us had left Hudson for more than one night, so we (more like I) were very nervous. Of course he did great at Cece and Big Daddy's house and didn't get spoiled at all. Ha! Ha! . We had a great trip except for the fact that I came down with Hudson's stomach bug the second day we were there. Luckily, I just layed under an umbrella at the pool/beach and got to read my "Stori Telling" book that I had been dying to read! It was very enlightening by the way. Definitely a good beach book.

Here's some pics of our trip.

Gallery Wrap Canvas Raffle

You could win one of these 16x20 Gallery Wrap Canvas Photo Collages featuring your favorite family snapshots for just $10!!!
A friend of a friend, and her husband, are in the process of adopting a baby boy from Ethiopia. To help them raise money for their adoption, I have donated one 16x20 canvas collage. They will be raffling the collage off beginning today and ending at noon on Saturday, March 21st. The raffle tickets are only $10 apiece and can be purchased by visiting Laura's website, PitterPatterArt, and clicking on the "Donate" button to the right.
All proceeds from the sales of Laura's art go towards their adoption fund as well, so please visit the site to see her awesome work and read how the Lord has called them to adopt this child.
Also check out "Why Adopt from Ethiopia?" on the right side of The Cornett's Blog, Our Story For His Glory.
As always, the collages are completely customizable and can be created using your favorite colors, scriptures, quotes, family's name(s), etc. They make great Mother's Day, Father's Day, or Graduation gifts.

What a mess!

So, I knew it was awfully quiet when I was working on some Embroidery orders and so I got up from my machine to find this big mess of shredded paper that I had bought yesterday at hobby lobby. Needless to say the whole bag was emptied all over my bed. Then he thought it was so funny that he started singing and playing his guitar! What a mess, but I love the messes! I couldn't help but laugh!
