My Inspiration from Better homes and Gardens
The start of Hudson's room- Painting the stripes .
So long to my little boys toile nursery with light blue and pastel green and even his light blue feather boa that hung on his door!

I have made the decision to start on Hudson's big boy room. I had a hard time deciding on what "theme" I wanted, then it hit me when I saw this article in an old Better homes and Gardens magazine. Those of you who know Hudson, know he loves dogs and especially his best friend, Lady (our yellow lab). So for the past month or so, i have been on the hunt trying to come up with all the elements I saw in this picture. The past few days, I have tackled the painting project. Wow, stripes are definitely a tedious paint job, but I love the result. I will try to post finished pictures of Hudson's new room!

The stripes look great! Can't wait to see the finished room!
It looks so good! You need to come paint stripes for me when we move!
So cute! Post more, post more!
oh stripes can be so frustrating!!! We are doing them in our guest bath, I know the outcome will be great but they take so much time! Looks good!
OH wow!! It looks great, cant wait to see the final product- then you can just come on down and help me out!!!
Aww, that's the saddest thang I've ever heard! I didn't realize you were re-doing his nursery. I thought you were doing the other room and turning it into a playroom? Maybe you're doing both? Anyway, it's gonna be so cute when you're done! When is it time to turn the crib into a big boy bed? We gotta come over soon and see all of that!
